The legal benchmark.

Continuous power is the sustained output of the complete eBike system — motor, controller and battery working together. It’s a system rating, not a motor rating, and every compliant Ampd Bros eBike is designed around it.

Power when you need it.

During acceleration and steep climbs, the system can briefly deliver power above its continuous output. That's why a legal eBike can feel far more capable than "250W" suggests.

Torque determines how hard the bike pulls.

More torque + your weight = greater climbing ability.
